Koen Köppen

Koen is currently CEO & CTO at Mollie, a leading digital payment service provider. At Mollie, he is responsible for the reliability, scalability and development of the company’s technology platforms. Prior to joining Mollie, Koen spent over a decade at Klarna, where he held several leadership positions before becoming its CTO in 2017. He is also a Board member at GoCardless and Reorg.

At Permira, Koen will use his experience, deep industry expertise and network to support investment origination and value creation across the portfolio, including the partnerships with leading fintech and payments companies such as Klarna, GoCardless, Carta, Clearwater Analytics, Housecall Pro and Reorg.
